The promotion of physical activity and the promotion and provision of physical exercise opportunities with the object of improving the health and wellbeing, in particular but not exclusively, for those over 45 and those whose health, ethnicity and socio-economic circumstances might mean they need more help and encouragement to take part in physical activity.2.
