**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE UNION ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF STUDENTS AT UNIVERSITY OF HERTFORDSHIRE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY:PROMOTING THE INTERESTS AND WELFARE OF STUDENTS AT UNIVERSITY OF HERTFORDSHIRE DURING THEIR COURSE OF STUDY AND REPRESENTING, SUPPORTING AND ADVISING STUDENTS;BEING THE RECOGNISED REPRESENTATIVE CHANNEL BETWEEN STUDENTS AND UNIVERSITY OF HERTFORDSHIRE AND ANY OTHER EXTERNAL BODIES; ANDPROVIDING SOCIAL, CULTURAL, SPORTING AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND FORUMS FOR DISCUSSIONS AND DEBATE FOR THE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF ITS STUDENTS.

**Activities:** The Charity provides representational services, advice, support and services to students of the University of Hertfordshire.  The charity provides a range of charitable services relating to social facilities, access to employment and  volunteering opportunities as well as providing opportunities to participate in a range of cultural, sporting and other activities.
