**Objects:** 1) TO ADVANCE THE PUBLIC’S EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF MOUNTAIN REGIONS BY SUPPORTING EXPEDITIONS FOR THE EXPLORATION OF SUCH AREAS TO GATHER KNOWLEDGE AND TO REPORT BACK ANY USEFUL RESULTS INTO THE PUBLIC DOMAIN;AND 2) THE ADVANCEMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN THE SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE LEADERSHIP AND INSTRUCTION OF SAFE MOUNTAINEERING, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITH THE FURTHER VIEW TO HELP ADVANCE THEM IN LIFE.

**Activities:** We offer avalanche awareness and safety courses for outdoor instructors and guides, who work with members of the  Public taking them out into the mountains in winter.
