**Objects:** TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE ART AND SCIENCE OF BRASS BAND MUSICIANSHIP BY THE PRESENTATION OF CONCERTS AND RELATED ACTIVITIES.TO PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN A BANDROOM FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF SLAITHWAITE IN THE METROPOLITAN DISTRICT OF KIRKLEES AND THE SURROUNDING AREA WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR: A) MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES AND B) OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LESIURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS.

**Activities:** Slaithwaite Brass Band has been producing music in the Colne Valley, near Huddersfield, since 1892. We perform at many concerts, events and contests each year. We practice at our purpose-built Bandroom, which is also available for all members of the local community to use for events.
