addressing thè issues ol vuln8rabilily. exploilalion, unemployment, poverty and inequality can build and sustain a

A continuing grant from The National Lottery has allowed us lo expand our adv￿& and support. We are
seelng inu83sing numbers ol people, as the cost of Ilving crisis squeezes famili65 hard. We have
continued lo support people with EUSS and related issues. Local paoplg can now yel more speciallst
5UPPOrt from CARD about irnmigialion and benelits, debt advice and money management from Rolherfed,
housing advK8 from Key Choices Council staff, and getting Into work support from Employment Solutions,
amongst others.
Our Social Supermarket has rapidly become well established in Ihe community. We now support 35+
people, wrth 4 people volunteering on a regular basis. We hav8 increased our delivery from Fare Share lo
Iwice a week and we 8upplemenl this with additional products. We are grateful for funding from RM8C and
the C¢kop.

The National Lollery funding has anabled us lo con51Stently provide En91ish conversation groups, Thestr
8è95ions are appreciated because they are low-key, fun and people are free lo bring their babies. In
addition lo learning Engllsh il give5 people a chance to meet new people in similar circumstances, develop
friendships and support each other. We have also provld8d Sewing sesslons for local woman, And
8stablisheil an IT group.
In our 2 youth club8 we g&8 about 40 young8leT8 each w88k, a football sesslon w8s 88ked lor and we have
been able lo make this happen a5 well. Rolherham Unlled Community Trust 8150 dellver sesslons for th
oldef age range from Zone 2, wilh the support of our Lead Youth Wofker. Activities that young people have
had the opportunlly to explore have included trips lo do canoeing, dimbing and abseiling. Also in house
aclivilies in art and music. Wa had a fabulous Winler Vvonderfand experience for over 80 childrgn, thank8 10
funding frorn HAF and we are hoping lo expand our holiday activities in 2024.
Our fabulous volunteer$ ¢onllnue lo make our garden space blossom, with lovely fruit and vegetables to
supplem8nl pantry.
CLP Home
We have boen wortlng hard behind the Scènes lo make the charity a member of CLP Hornes. This should
help us in the long tem.
Fun Fest was back in 2023 after a hiatus of 3 years. It was bigger and bettèr than ev9r with nearly 1000
people in allendance. having fun. meeting new people and enjoying activilie$ around tho theme of Carnivall
Flnanc5al rnvlow
During 2023124. We were able lo sustain our level of income. We maintained the level of smaller gr8n18 and have
continued lo benèfit from large grants from the National Lottory.
This major grant ha$ allowed us to continue lo devek)p the adwce and support work and community hub work, but
furth&r substantial grants from Voluntary Adion Rolherham and RMBC have alk￿ed us lo extend provision in youth
work and the social superTllarkel respectively.
