A new facilrty off efs them the opporlunity lo r8new and pay for their membership online As a result ol Mojo, we are retaining members and speeding up the paymeni process. For the second year in a row Our membership numbers have increased with younger anisis being In evidence. For those artists that are working and who also have youn9 families, the mod81 of service thai we provKJè is v6ry appealing in lerms of ease of exhibit￿n or9anisatM)n, InV￿lIatIOn. and our lavourable hire rates, Ariists ar8 Still attracted io our new formula ot being able to rent a pfop0rl￿fi ol space within the gallery as opposed to having to pay tor the whole rental. World revenues from art sales In auction houses and gallerles have saen a 17% reduetlOD. in valiJes Our sales pav.ern is very much in llne wrth that figure. The Income we generate from commisslon ol sales shows this lall In value. However. we have compensated lor this loss and seen a modest income rise by having morg membership shows They are not based on a rental value ihey are based on a paymeni per artwork exhibited. They are very popular and instead of having one or tsvo membership snows per year we are now having four or five. The irbcome rocelved from ihese shows helps compensaie fof the fall In commisslon Income. We have feplaced our computer system and had rt profeSs￿nallY set up, go records or informatK>n were k)st. This cost has been covered in Our expenses. We have also nstalled a rn0de￿ CCTV system as part of our commilment to ensure the salety of our v¢￿UnI8ers. We have recenlly l)oughi new shelving and new cupboards for our Slofage areas and off ￿. We are still bjking lor a treasurerlaccountant but rt has been impos&ble to lind someone to take rt on as a voluntary role. We are therefor8 of the opinion that we will have to pay 9)moone to do this work. We are ai presenl warting lor a response trorn a certified accounianl In 8exhill. Bearing in rnind our calendar is tull ot bookings for 2026, 1 am pleased to report that the Aris Forum 18 weathering ihe storm ol the cosi ol living crisis aamrtediy wrth a very small incorne surplus, as befrts our charitable status.
