Many ol Ihese new members are working and theretore find Ihe model of our organisation easy ￿ fft irrto. As a Gallery run by artists 8nd for anisis, we are able lo identify the Slraiegles that help lo make us acc8ssFble lo as many people as poss*)le. Our mernbership currentty runs al 186. Our Gallery Co Ordinalor and our lechnical adviser have spenl many months installing software swem called Mojo. This vdill allow membership renewal not￿$ lo be aulomab'calty sènt via mail chimp. which prevwjusly had been a time-consuming task Also. one that caused natural wastage. This Systsm went live in February 2025 Our calendar ts lully booked lor exhibitions in 2025. and we are taking in resefvatK>ns tor 2026 This Is a notable achievement consthring the ￿mperrtIon trom Ihe other many local gallefl6S, which are continually springing up in St Leonards. We have carr￿1 on the success ol our show last year called The New Members Show. This has jusl come down and has again served rts purpose of introducing oui new members and ttrw'r TI￿rk lo each olher and our wider audience. Our Changing Spaces initvdiive has been renamed WOW, Work on the Walls, where a gioup ol previously unconnected artists can hire a section of Ihe gallery and share the running costs. In limes of the C¥)sl-of.Iiving pressures this has Pfoved a very popular OP￿n. We have also seen the relurn ot ￿ groups. Soco and Photo u10p￿, who do not have exhibibon Pfemisas of their Sales have been steady and the ￿mbined income streams of ientsl and commission are covering our expenses with 8 modesl surplus. We have continued our relurt)ishmenl of the premises by remowng th8 old Covering from the ￿ndoW area and replacing il wrth laminaie oak tItXJring whrh we acquired at a very reasonable (x>sl from a local SUppl￿r. We also Tepainted the walls below Ihe pscture rail wth a better.qualrty ernulsion as the budgei prted painl we used last year marked easity.
