**Activities:** SOWRA aims to advance the standards and raise awareness of regional anaesthesia and pain management amongst the general public and medical profession. SOWRA provides a forum for networking for health professionals, provides training and educational activities and supports clinical and basic science research in the field of regional anaesthesia and pain management through research grants.
