The day lo day running of the youth club is undertaken by Denise Lellioti
who reports lo the trustees. The Trustees oversee the overall
management of the charity.

We have a Child Protection Policy and a qualified Social Worker is our
designated CPO. We undertake DBS checks with staff and volunteers
before they commence work. Staff and volunteers also undertake
Safeguarding Training which is regularly refreshed in line with our CPP.
The Trustees also undertake safeguarding training and have DBS checks
in line with slalulory requirements.

Our aim is lo promote the personal and social development of Young
People in their transition from childhood lo adolescence lo adulthood. To
act as a resource for young people up lo the age of 19 living or meeting
in Brampton and The Wentworth North Area by providing advice and
assistance and organising programmes of physical, educational and
other activities as a means of..

We planned our activities in accordance with our governing document
and in consullalion with the young people. We were able to return lo
normal youth club sessions and in addition lo this we also worked in
partnership with Rolherham MBC providing holiday activities {HAFI and
hot meals for children and families Ihrou9hout the borough.

These activities benefit young people by developing key life skills that are
transferable skills for life and include." improving self confidence,
improved communication skills whilst promoting their personal and social
development. The job club enables young people lo find apprenticeships
and supports then in to training, whilst the youth clLJb offers them a safe
space to meet new friends.
The summer activities enable us to work with young people on specific
issues and also promole team build, confidence and commLJnicalion skills
that are transferable to all aspect of a young person's lives.

Achievements and performance

during the year
General Youth Club: This is a universal service open to young people
aged 8 and over yOLJng people can attend to take part in activities and
workshop or just relax and meet friends. Activities include drama, ICT,
Play Station, sports, disco and karaoke. We also run workshops alongside
the youth sessions covering a variety of topics including staylng safe,
healthy lifestyles, Active citizenship, stress management, conflict
resolution. We also prepare food and do baking with the young people.

Health & wellbeing: We continue to deliver a variety of sessions both
within the youth club sessions and during our holiday activity provision.
The sessions Include guided meditation, stress management, positive
relationships and drugslalcohol advice. These issue-based sessions ère
built around the identified need5 of young people.
Drama: The drama workshops are an excellent vehicle to develop young
people's ski Ils and confidence, promote team work and undertake issue-
based youth work. The sessions are open to young people aged 8 to 18
years. We run weekly sessions and do several performances throughout
the year.
Community Support & Events: We continue to work in partnership with
the community centre to deliver quality events, young people volunteer
on the dèy undertaking vèrious activities including serving food, working
on the stal Is and being extras In performances. This helps them develop
new skills and build their portfolios of work
Summer Activities: The summer activities continLJe to be popular and
with young people, this year was busier than ever as we combined the
HAF projert with the youth club, we had over 50 young people participate.
The had the opportunity to experience outdoor activities, trips to the
seaside, cinema and bowling. In addition to this we also employed 8
street dance coach and sports coach.
Volunteers: We continue to offer a number of volunteering opportunities
to young people with a full volunteer pack and access lo training.

Respective responsibilities of the Management Committee and examiner
The Management Committee is responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The Management Committee
considers that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 Ilhe Charities
Act) and that an independent examination is needed.

Basis of independent examiner's statement
My examination was carried out in accordan￿ with the general directions given by the Charity Commission.
An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the
