|Summary ofthe main<br>achievements<br>ofthe charity<br>during the year|||General Youth Club: This is a universal<br>service open to young<br>people<br>aged 8 and over young<br>people can attend to take part in activities<br>and<br>workshop<br>orjust relax and meet friends. Activities<br>include drama,<br>ICT,<br>Play Station, sports, disco and karaoke.<br>We also run workshops<br>alongside<br>the youth sessions covering<br>a variety of topics including<br>staying safe,<br>healthy<br>lifestyles,<br>Active citizenship,<br>stress management,<br>conflict<br>resolution.<br>We also prepare<br>food and do baking<br>with the young<br>people.<br>issues.|
||||Health<br>&wellbeing:<br>We continue to deliver a variety ofsessions<br>both<br>within<br>the youth<br>club sessions and during<br>our holiday<br>activity provision.<br>The sessions<br>include<br>guided<br>meditation,<br>stress management,<br>positive<br>relationships<br>and drugs/alcohol<br>advice. These issue-based<br>sessions are<br>built around the identified<br>needs of young<br>people.|
||||Drama: The drama<br>workshops<br>are an excellent vehicle to develop<br>young<br>people's<br>skills and confidence,<br>promote team work and undertake<br>issue-<br>based youth work. The sessions are open to young<br>people aged 8 to 18<br>years. We run weekly sessions and do several<br>performances<br>throughout<br>the year.|
||||Outreach<br>Information<br>&Advice:<br>These sessions are a combination<br>of<br>job clubs, outreach<br>work and 1:1support.<br>We assist with job search,<br>careers advice and CV writing.|
||||Community<br>Support<br>&Events: We continue to work<br>in partnership<br>with<br>the community<br>centre to deliver quality events, young<br>people volunteer<br>on the day undertaking<br>various activities<br>including<br>serving<br>food, working<br>on the stalls and being extras<br>in performances.<br>This helps them develop<br>new skills and build their portfolios of work|
||||Summer Activities:<br>The summer<br>activities continue to be popular<br>and<br>with young people, this year was busier than ever as we combined<br>the<br>HAP project with the youth<br>club, we had over 50 young<br>people participate.<br>The had the opportunity<br>to experience<br>outdoor activities,<br>trips to the<br>seaside, cinema and bowling.<br>In addition<br>to this we also employed<br>a<br>street dance coach and sports coach.|
||||Volunteers:<br>We continue<br>lo offer a number ofvolunteering<br>opportunities<br>to young people with a full volunteer<br>pack and access lo training.|
