## **GLOBAL PUBLIC WELFARE TRUST Charity Registration Number: 1142279 Independent Examiners report to the trustees of Global Public Welfare Trust**
I report to the charity trustees on examination of the accounts of the Trust for the period ended 31 December 2025.
## **Responsibilities and basis of report**
As the charity trustees of the CIO you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’).
I report in respect of my examination of the CIO’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act. In carrying out my examination I have followed all applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act.
## **Independent examiner’s statement- matter of concern identified**
Since the CIO's gross income exceeded £25,000 your examiner must be a member of a body listed in section 145 of the 2011 Act. I confirm that I am qualified to undertake the examination because I a member of AAT, which is one of the listed bodies.
The CIO has prepared its accounts on a receipts and payments (cash) basis. For a Charitable Incorporated Organisation with gross income exceeding £25,000, the accounts should be prepared on an accruals basis in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 102). The charity has confirmed that this was due to them not expecting to exceed the limit in a short time frame and has been rectified going forward.
Except for the effect of the matter described above, in my opinion the accounts give a true and fair view of the CIO’s incoming resources and application of resources for the period ended 31 December 2025, and have been properly prepared in accordance with the Charities Act 2011.
I confirm that there are no other matters to which your attention should be drawn to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
