**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE BENEFITS OF NETHERTON PARK AND THE LOCAL SURROUNDING AREA WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS THE LOCAL AUTHORITY, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITION OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

**Activities:** The Friends of Netherton Park is a voluntary group set up by local residents in an attempt to get the facilities provided within the park to be both maintained and upgraded in order to offer the local community the opportunity to enjoy the park for a range of recreational and sporting pursuits.
