Section D Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
In the 2024/2025 financial year our key focus was:-
School Maintenance and Improvements
During the year, a total of £18,66 was allocated across all linked schools to facilitate building enhancements.
Teacher Accommodation Refurbishment
Refurbishment of teacher accommodation was completed at one linked school (Lulagala). This initiative was partially supported by modest rent contributions made in 2024 (10,000 shillings per month for 10 months) from teachers residing in accommodation originally constructed at linked schools through funding provided by the Trust.
Ongoing Support
Consistent assistance has been extended throughout the year to the Kindergarten as well as the Butoloogo and Buguluma Health Clinics, aiding their progressive transition towards complete self-sufficiency.
Fostering International Understanding
Efforts continue to unite individuals across NW Hampshire and keep them informed regarding current activities in Mityana, Uganda. Ongoing collaboration and engagement also continued with Lay Readers within the Mityana Diocese.
Planning has commenced to invite a group of adults to Uganda in October 2025 to visit the projects they have helped support.
