Springboard Preschool, Charity Number 1142045, meets at Springfield Park Baptist Church, Chelmsford, Monday to Friday mornings and Tuesday afternoons during term time. The preschool has a Christian ethos, and is governed by a Baptist Union of Great Britain model deed for preschools. It is a member of the Early Years Alliance. The work of the preschool continues to be based on the Early Years Foundation Stage, including provision for children with special needs, for an average of 24 children, aged 2 1/2 to 5 years. Springboard has a keen team of 8 staff, who work very hard to provide a happy environment for good learning. The setting was inspected by OFSTED in December 2019, and was given the grading ‘Good’.
