**Objects:** TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN PARTICULAR BUT NOTEXCLUSIVELY BY:• THE ACCREDITATION OF UNIVERSITY COURSES AND RELEVANT RESEARCH TOPICS IN THESTUDY OF MICROPALAEONTOLOGY;• ASSISTING IN THE FUNDING FOR THE TRAINING OF STUDENT MICROPALAEONTOLOGISTS.THIS TRAINING MUST BE AS PART OF AN ACCREDITED POST GRADUATE COURSE OR PROJECT, ORAS A RECOGNISED SHORT COURSE AT AN ACCREDITED PLACE OF TRAINING.

**Activities:** During the year we raised a further £250 and made financial awards to two students, one studying for an MSc Micropalaeontology at the University of Birmingham, and one on a one week long specific course about Ostracods in Jena, Germany. The latter was unable to attend due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, so the grant will roll over
