ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable activities
During the pa%1 year we have continued to rescu¢ and find hom¢s for animals. In addition, we continued io Care for animals at our
centre. During the year ended 31, Ocrober ?023 the animals accepted included horses, goats. 5h¢¢p, dllcks, pigeons. and pigs.

Coronavirus
Trusiees have ensured that the wellbeing of animals and volunteers is safeguarded. The response from the eommunity, donors and
the local authority has ensured that the charity has survived through the coronavirus.

Financial position
On 31 yl October 2023. the bank b212n¢e was £8.847. creditors £1,290, fix¢d assets £41.955 to give fund5 of £49,512.
During the year to 31, October 2023 donation income exceeded expenditure to allow £42,000 payments for ground
improvements. Bank balan¢es haye increased.
The Trustees would like to thank all those that gave donaiion5 and grants.

Reserves have been used for front line animal care. Trustees consider that the £1.600 shortfall in reserves are within

give care to animals.
The principal risks and uncertainties facing the charity are danger to the aniTna15 in our ¢are and accidents to volunteers.
Our straiegies to manage these risks are iraining of volunteers and trustees, close day by day involvetn¢nt working with
the animals and volunteers.
Plans ar¢ to eontinue to eare for animals. train volunteers and build upon donation in¢ome ¢1) maintain or increase our
¢8pacity to accept animals.
