We have been able toget more acquainted with the local community. There are plans for visits to local schools and other community groups as part ofthe local Police activities in 'getting to know us', which isaimed at |

| all groups from different walks oflife toget together in a local community |

| hall and ageneral invite foreveryone to attend and ask questions and |
|||
| sample food from around the world. | |||
| We have attended many difierent areas and venues as invited by those |
|||
| who wish for us to go to them as they are unable to come to us. | |||
| We have been able totake coach loads ofpeople to the Temple in |
|||
| London and arrange for people to attend the Temple in Birmingham |
|||
| where contributions from those attending, which are vast in numbers as |
|||
| London Temple has many acres ofground and the Birmingham temple |
|||
| has a large garden area, to enjoy the atmosphere and celebrate the |
|||
| various festivals in the Thai calendar. |
|||
| The funds raised through these festivals are then shared between the | |||
| temples and this isone other way our funds are raised. | |||
| As stated, this is not a commercial way ofhnd raising, but people donate |
|||
| funds to help and support their local Temple and those around them. | |||
| We are still relatively new to Wales and there isfar more work for us to |
|||
| do and we are being asked to undertake more blessings and being |
|||
| invited to people homes, businesses and community centres for prayer, |
|||
| blessings and meditation. |
