We are a locAI eh4rity providing bespoke 1-2-1 practical emotional 8UPPOrt to cancer patienL8 and those who eare
for them. Service8 include home to hospital tra￿4pOrtatIon, counselltng including bereavement coun8¢lling.
complementary therapie8, pe¢r sUPPOrt group5. hcalth and 80ci&I aciivities, infornwtLOrt & 5UPPOrt J¢rvi¢¢s including
preveiiiion Artd befrr¢nding support. All services are delivered by a Small nuM￿r of paid ¢mployee8 and a dedicated
tethi of 51 volunteers.
With the ex¢eption of the transport service, whi¢h iy Jv4ilablc to Dudley residents or those registered with a Dudlry GP
only. Service8 are avail&ble to all ¢4n￿r p&li¢nts and those that care for them within the Dudloy M¢trop)litan Borough
and the 8urroundin8 ar¢a8 olthc Black Country.

continue to receive fimds from Healthy Communiiies Together (Hcf) to (a) continu¢ our work in addr¢ssing in¢qualitieL4

Thc coronaviru8 pandemi¢ continueB to have a neBilive impact on cancer pati¢nis 4nd cancer waiting lisis. Newly
dig8nosed p&tients generally tend to prescnl in th¢ latter sta8eg of th¢ir Canccr diagnosi8 and with cancer waitin8 ¢ime&
rcmaining high, treatment for many i& delayed beyond governmenl and NHS guidelinc8. Consequently, the charity 18
now supportin8 incrcu8¢d number8 of people who, for a variely of reason¥, Bre now in the later stages of their cancer
journey. Dcspite ¢hi8, we remain eommitt¢d ¢0 ¢ontinuing to oper4t¢ and io develop all our services to mttt the Browing
need for sUPPOrt for all thosc affected by the disc￿.

The Notional Health S¢rvice locally has undergone many chAn8ey however, with re8pect lo the commi88ioning of
s¢rvi¢¢s, th¢ focuy is centred on both ¥y8tem and place-based seryices. Thi8 means that over411, s¢rvice3 are now
procured throuBh the Black Counlry ICB. Cancer Continues to be one of ihe main prioritie8 of the health service,
ypecifically breast cancer amongs( certain communitie8 and lung Cancer for 411 comjnunities and ￿ a result, the charity
ha¥ b¢en actively involved in & range of commissioned and parth¢rship work to help raise awarene53 and support those
affected. Wht'te House Cancer Support transport s¢rvi¢¢8 It still in receipt of an annual grant and continues to eArc¢d all
expecthtLOnS. Demand for counselling seryi¢¢s continues to grow and beside. ad-h￿ grunt funding we will be 8trivin8 ¢0
have this 8eryice commi88ioned a¢ 80me stage in the ￿tUr¢ cspecially we continuously rcceive refcrr4]s from variou5
NHS t4Mlie8.

In addition. due to the of our recent emotional wellbein8 Partncrship and in¢qu4lily projects, we are curr¢n¢ly
awaiting lo receive fvrth¢r funding from both the Black County ICB and the Ilealihy Communit1&8 To8ether P4rlner8hip
for funds to 8UPPQrt the emotional well-being of those Aff¢ct¢d by cancer. In r¢$pecl of the Limitcd Liability Pat1nerthip
ILLP), w¢ ¢ontinue in the role of lead or8anisatLOlI, all of which IA link¢d into the Healthy Communities To¥ether work
and moving forward, the partnership is now moiryn8 into ph48¢ 3 of spreadin8 Icarnin¥ and good praeti¢¢ (o other patts
of the Blaok Country. We will cokntinue to work clo8¢ly with health arld voluntary sector collwues to addre98 health
inequalities for v4118nd have made great strides with the ladie8 from thc Black African & Caribbean communities living
in Dudley, and moving forward, we exp¢cl more of thi% work to ¢ontinue and especially in support of A wide range of
communities and particularly with people with l¢arning disabilities.
