The remaining was raised across a number of other varied events including cake sale, quiz night, welcome bbq, 2024 challenge, cinema night, Christmas wrapping, disco, Christmas card sale and PJ day, as well as voluntary donations and ‘easy fundraising’. In total a net figure of £29,643.18 was raised. A good figure with 12% more than previous period (£26,364.81). Top three spends for the year were £32,918 contribution towards the refurbishment of the KS2 playground. This included resurfacing of the playground, new climbing frame and play equipment. We have been fundraising for the playground for a number of years and due to delays have kept the money ear-marked in the account for this project. Other significant spends this period have included £3,420 on forest school, £1,763 for EYFS playground equipment and £1,000 for Clicker 8 software and £999 for table tennis table. We have also continued to contribute to Christmas shows and termly payments to each class consumables to ad hoc items for the classrooms. In total a very impressive £42,770.52 was paid to the school. This was below previous years contributions based on school needs. |
