## **Objectives and Activities** 

The trustees review applications against the published criteria of the Trust and make grants as are deemed possible to organisations concerned with the welfare of children, humanitarian concerns, the arts and the environment. 

We are particularly interested in supporting smaller organisations who can meet more than one of the criteria.

Respectlve The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the
responslbilities of accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
trustees and examlner 2011 ('Ihe Act'l.
The chaiity's Irvstees consider Ihat an audit is not required for this
year under section 144 of the Act and that an independent
examination is needed.
It is my responsibilrty to..
examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act,
to follow the applicable Directions given by the Charity
Commission (under section 145{51{bl of the Act. and
to stale whether particular matters have come to my attention
Basis of independent My examination was carried out in accordance with general
examlner's statement Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination
includes 8 review of the accounting records kept by the charity and
comparison of the accounls presented with those records. It also
includes consideration of any unusual items or di￿10$UreS in the
accounts. and seeking explanalions from the trustees conceming any
such matters. The procedures undertaken do nol provide all the
evidence that would be required in an audrt. and consequently no
opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'lrue and fair,
view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the
Statement below.
Independent In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to
examinerfs my attention (other than that disclosed below") which gives me
statement cause to believe that in, any material respect:
accounting records were not kept in accordance with section
130 of the Charilies Act or
the accounls do not accord with the accounting record$
I have no concems and have come across no other matters in
connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn
