**Objects:** A. PROVIDING INFORMATION, SUPPORT AND WELFARE FOR PERSONS SUFFERING FROM DIABETES AND ITS RELATED COMPLICATIONS AND FOR THOSE WHO CARE FOR THEM;B.  PROMOTING RESEARCH INTO THE NATURE, CAUSES, PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF DIABETES INCLUDING SELF-MANAGEMENT EDUCATION;C. PROMOTING EDUCATION IN, AND INCREASING PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE OF, THE NATURE, CAUSES,  PREVENTION, TREATMENT AND SELF-MANAGEMENT OF DIABETES.

**Activities:** The charity supports  local diabetes community in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire. We operate 2 diabetes charity shops, provide information, support and encouragement to people with diabetes on the high street. Specific support:  books for Desmond Courses, activity course for young people with dabetes, support the paedreatic team with carb & cal books & patch bears help children how to inject,
