This took the form of advice to landowners, with some practical assistance where required, and was conducted in association with Devon Wildlife Trust and their long running Avon Valley Project. Most of this work was undertaken by a consultant conservation officer with assistance from other contractors. Our work with primary schools increased during the year in both range and complexity. We continued to work with schools to develop the infrastructure to support outdoor learning. In addition, we began laying the foundations for a project to deliver nature themed and curriculumbased lessons outdoors.
