TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE PERIOD I SEPTEMBER 2024- 31 AUGUST 2025 'Peterson's Fund for Children, is a registered local charity that supports young people in Surrey, and its surrounding areas, who struggle with severe mental / physical disabilities. It provides financial and other assistance to families with children, and other young per- sons who are unfortunately faced with this situation. by providing funding to. enable custom therapy obtain specialised equipment organise care workers and other professionals otherwise unavailable under public as- sistance. The aim of the charity is to help as many young people in need as possible in the hopes of improving their quality of life and offering them opportunities in order to maximise their individual growth and potential. The charity started in late 2011. It began small with a weekly food concession stand at a local sports field, and helping one child, and has since grown to include several large fund- raising projects throughout the year enabling it to help 7 young people plus some 'one-off' opportunities when feasible to do so. The charity is supported by many friends and spon- sors that donate generously of their time. services, talents. resources and money and we are very grateful for their assistance. We are a relatively small charity, however this does not mean the we do not have an im- pact. The charity provides hope for families. hope that the future for these wonderful young people will be enhanced and full of possibility and opportunity. Whether it is week- ly therapy sessions or the purchase of equipment, we aim to provide the resources to fur- ther their development and enrich their lives. It does not take much, but it means so much. We do not provide the therapy but fundraise so the children we help can afford the best care. For the year from September 2024 to August 2025, the charity was less involved with fundraising events and more with the evolvement of our charity costume shop and focus- ing on the mental and physical wellbeing of our families as they have been struggling: BMS Berkeley continues to support us with a monthly donation of £lOO. Gocardless raised £284 for our charity. Bryan and June Amos Foundation grant of £6,000. Donations amounting to £22,250. Suite 109 Costumes, our charity costume shop brought in £43,648 in its eighth year of

operations. We were fortunate, with the money raised through these donations, to provide £17,976 in grants to the young people who we support. during this time period. The vast majority was spent on respite, supplements and crucial health evaluations, mentoring, rehab thera- pies, horse-riding, and music therapy. All the money we raise goes to these young people, since the Fund has no salaried employees or overhead expenses. We look forward to another exciting year in the charity and hope to increase our funds, our exposure and awareness and, most of all, our ability to help those in need.
