The Trustees present their annual rewyrt and financial statements for the year ended 30 September 2025.
The financial statemcrkts have bccn prepared in accordance with the accounting policies set out in note I to
the Iinancial statements and comply with ihe trust's Memordndum and Articles of Association. the Companies
Act 2006 and "Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to
charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK
and Republic of Ireland IFRS 102)" {effective l January 2019).

in 2024 students can now book one to one mentoring sessions on the areas of the GCSE syllabus they wish
lo cover, based upon the availability of mcntors up to 7 days a week.
With these recent innovalion5. Thc Adnan Jaffery Educational Trust is now able lo otTer 2417 virtual support
and alluw mentors and students to access thc Onc Dcgrce Mcntoring Programmc from thcir home in additiurt
lo any in-pcrson programmes ihc charity runs.
In 2025, the Adnan JalTcry Educational Trust partnered wilh ihrce new schools. as well as aft academy Iru8t
spanning multiplc schoo15 across England. Whilc our student nUm￿rS remained similar to 2024, cngagcincnl
and mentoring increased significantly. These partnerships also opened the door to severdl additional schoo15
joining for thc 2025126 school ycar.
2025 also marked the start of a parlnership with Mizuho Bank. which has provided the charily with increased
and 51able funding for the next three years.

The Adnan JatTery Educational Trust works with students at the GCSE lei'el which is a pivotal stage in their
eduLation. The Trust selects student5 typically prcdictcd not to dchiei'e at least a Grade C l Lci'el 4 or above
in their English and Mathematics GCSE examinations.
By failingy to achieve at Icast a Gradc C l LcN'cl 4 in thcsc subjects. studcnls arc oftcn unable to progyrcss to A
Levels or other ￿rther education courses. Many students leave ihc cducational systcm altogcther bccoming
clas5ificd as Not in Education, Employmcnt or Trdining INEET}.

The Trust r¢li¢s on gyills and donations to fund its a¢tivitics. Most of tho charity's income is derived from
'unrestricted' donations with 'restrictcd' donations beiii& designaled for prog¥rdmme aclivities within a
tim¢fram¢.
There are no special funds or reserves in place for any specific purpose. The financial activities of the charity
during the period <lre summarised in the Stateinenl of Financial Aclii'iti¢s on page 4.
Th¢ trustc¢s aim to ¥¢nerdte a reasonable surplus in each ￿n(KI. to increase reserves for future invcstmcnt
in the compans s educational programs and to maintain sufficient work'ing capital that will enable th¢
company to m¢ct it.s financial obligyations as th¢y fall duc. The TThsl¢¢s hav¢ addr¢%s¢d h¢ funding? shortfalls
¢xperienced in prior years and in particular the partnership with Mizuho has significanily improved the

that the company has sufficient cash flow to maintain 0￿ratIonS and meet any liabilities as they fall due.

I report to the Twstees on my examination of the financial statements of The Adnan Jaffery Educational
Trust (the trust) for the year ended 30 September 2025.

As the Twstees of the trust (and also its directors for the purposes of company law) you are responsible for
the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with ihe requiremenls of the Companies Act 2006
(the 2006 Act).
