ORCA works to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises (collectively known as cetaceans) in UK and European waters. We promote the conservation of cetaceans in particular by educating the public and raising awareness of the need for their protection and their natural habitat. We also conduct scientifc research into whale and dolphin habitat, population and distribution.

Objects: To Promote The Conservation Of Cetaceans, Seabirds And Other Marine Wildlife, In Particular By:i. Educating The Public And Raising Awareness Of The Need For The Conservation Of Such Wildlife And Its Natural Habitat.ii. Conducting Research Into Species Of Such Wildlife And To Publish The Results For The Benefit Of The General Publiciii.advising On Measures Contributing To The Conservation Of Marine Wildlife
