Activities

The Ricoh Arena Community Space works independently and with partners in the statutory, community and voluntary sectors to promote public benefit to inhabitants, locally and city wide, through provision of activities and opportunities in pursuance of its charitable aims.

Objects: 3.1 Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Age,disability, Nationality, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associatingtogether The Said Inhabitants With Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort Toadvance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreationand Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Saidinhabitants;3.2 Establish And Operate, Or Secure The Establishment And Operation Of The Ricoh Arenacommunity Space And To Maintain And Manage The Same In Furtherance Of The Objects;3.3 Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes As May From Time To Time Be Determined.the Charity Shall Be Non-Party In Politics And Non-Sectarian In Religion. The Area Ofbenefit Shall Be "The Arena Community" (I), Which Shall Mean The Communities In Theimmediate Vicinity Of "The Arena Development" (Ii), And Who May Be Subject To Potentialchanges In Their Quality Of Life As A Result Of The Development And The Communities Shall Bedefined By The Coventry City Council Ward Boundaries Of Foleshill, Holbrooks Andlongford. As Coventry As A Whole Will Benefit From The Arena Development Regard Willtherefore Also Be Had To Communities Beyond The Immediately Adjacent Areas."the Arena Community" Shall Mean The Communities In The Immediate Vicinity Ofthe Arena Development And Who May Be Subject To Potential Changes In Theirquality Of Life As A Result Of The Development. The Communities Shall Be Defmed Bythe Coventry City Council Ward Boundaries Of Foleshill, Holbrooks And Longford.(11) "The Arena Development" Shall Mean All That Development Related To The Ricoharena And The Arena Retail Park, Coventry, Including Future Development Of The"residual" Land
