Achlevements and perforniance
We have continued to care for our 20 ￿scued h(￿se$ and wnies. providing for their ongoing n￿5
such as feed, medicines, housing, v8t, and farrier fees. We use a natural. holistic approach, allowing
our horses to live as naturally as possible and f(Kus on kindness, good leadership and ex￿lIent
nutrition (including herbal and natural medicine) which rofiects brilliantly in how low our vel bills are
and how peaceful our h(￿SeS are loo. We regularly fund raise to keep the charty running and like to
create events that invdve the communty such as Open days, Craft fairs, music events, meditation
evenings, food events and family days.
We have introduced personal on6 to one experiences. f{￿ people. children and adults includiw Equine
therapy sessions to help children and adults wlh thelr mental and emob.onal well-being. We are
immensely proud of these sessions as we can see the results with people after their personal
interaction with a horse or pony and receNO amazing feedback. We have helped grieving families,
children In care, children with special needs. adults wilh anxiety and depression, or lacking
cOnf￿eNCe, adults with learning drfficultIes or disabiliiies and more. Not only are we supportlng people
with these experiences

I report lo the trustees on my examination of the financial slalemenls of The Healing Horse Sanctuary
{'the charily'l for the year ended 30th June 2024.
Responsibilltles and basis of report
As Iruslees of the charity you are responsible for the preparation of the financial slalements in
accordance with the reouiremenls of the Charities Act 2011 {'Ihe Act'}.
I report in respect of my examination of the charity's financial statements carried out under section 145
of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my exarnin8tion I have followed all the applicable Directions given
by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act.
Independent examlner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have corlle to rlly attention in
connection with the examination giving me Cause to believe that in any material respect..
accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the
Act., or
the financial sl8tements do not accord with those records., or
the financial ststemenls do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the
form and content of accounts sel out in the Charilies (Accounts and Reports) Regulations
2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'lrue and fair, view which is not a
matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other mallers in connection with the examination to
which allenlion should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts lo be reached.
