Part of our vision a8 a charrty is to make beneficial contributions to the wholeness of the sdiool communities. both individually and collectively. We do not adverti88 our3eW but the SMB staff remain in frleTrJly contact with the Billericay Schools. both primary arKI secondary., schools request what will most appropriately suit their pupils, teachers and the JIrl¢uIum.
Achievements and Performance This reportiry period has again been on8 of grovlth and development. The SMB staff continued to resp1 to the requests made by the schools in the communrty in a professional way, meeting whatever needs we Culd or offering advice on where to go nexu how to proceed rf w8 were not able to meet their needs ourselves. SMB continued their work across all school years with Bib stOelli and teaching, supporting school *aff pastorally and with resourcing, creating opportunities for reflection, awe and wonder, providir¥J safe SPaS and trusted people. offering prayer and wovbding a crisis Sixteen sessions of Amazing Christrna8, one of c¥Jr regular annual events, were held for Junior schools in the community. SMB organised several church vrdits for schools, either as part of tpe curriculum or for special times such as Easter. One of our lunior schools now indudes an SMB led Prayer and Reflectim Space as 1 of their Well-beiw Week. Thè luncmime club calW 'Live' takes place in Billeri¢ay'$ two senior schools. 'Live Club, offers the opwtunity for pupils to eat their lunch t(Wher with SMB statt. This provide8 i opportunity for them to chat about their week befo aYIng a game or discussing a chosen topic, which is often a topic chosen by the pupils thernselves. Our Improving Futw8s mentoring scheme has signifKantly improved the live8 of two year 11 wpils. Preparation work is being done lo extend our mentoring into the Kinsugi Hope project but for this reportin9 Feriod, rt 18 not yet in pla in sdw)ols.
