## **Trustees’ Annual Report (for the period from 1/1/2021 to 31/12/2021)** ## Charity Name: **Southampton Chinese Christian Fellowship** (or SCCF) Registered Charity Number: 1141228 Charity’s Principle Address: 14 Grafton Gardens, Southampton SO16 5SQ ## Name of Trustees Mr Hiong Ching Hii Mr Sanny Teoh Mr Loi You Wong ## Governing Document Constitution adopted in December 2010 The charity is constituted by Trust ## Trustee Selection Method Candidates must be 18 years of age or over and are members of the SCCF and have been worshipping regularly for a minimum period of six months prior to nomination. The leading members can recommend new trustees for acceptance at the AGM. ## Policies and Procedures There is safeguarding policy (updated in April 2022) in place. We carried out Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) check for all Sunday School teachers and helpers. These checks are renewed every three years as per recommended by the Charity Commission. Ongoing review of the health and safety issues are carried out to ensure that all statutory requirements and standards are met. ## Objectives of the Charity 1. To worship God 2. To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ 3. To build up the members of the Church 4. To testify for Jesus Christ ## Summary of the Main Ministries and Activities 1. Sunday services (a mixture of virtual and physical meetings) 2. Various bible study groups including adults and children groups (a mixture of virtual and physical meetings) ## Financial Review Our principal source of funds is through free-will offerings from the members of the SCCF. We do not raise funds. The main expenditures for this year include the hire cost for the Sunday meeting venue. The charity has no deficit in funds and all trustees are volunteers and do not receive any remuneration or other benefits from the charity.
