Basis of preparation of accounts

The accounts are prepared under the historical cost convention and incorporate the results of the principal activity which is described in the director’s report and which is continuing. The company has taken advantage of the exemption in Financial Reporting Standard for Small Entities (effective January 2005).

1.2 Turnover

Turnover represents donations received during the year.

1.3 Tangible fixed assets and depreciation

Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less depreciation.

Depreciation is provided using the reducing method of the category of tangible assets existing.

Fixture, fittings and equipment 10%

Stock and work in progress are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving stocks.

I report on the account s of the Trust for the year ended 31/08/2021, which are set out on page 01 to 04.

Respective Responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner

The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to:

Basis of Independent Examiner’s Statement

My examination was carried out in accordance with general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination include a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the account present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.

In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to my attention which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
