Club, which had n￿thing lor over 10 years. However during this year wt began negotiations w'ith a
Christiall orgATLizatioll callcd The Message Trust based iti M8nehe8tei tr> open a Conmiunity Ikocery. For thi6
provision we iepurposed the builditlg that wa8 formerly the BUrSle￿ BookRoom. Tbis is due to open in October
2022. Due to a dowm turn ID CL8tomer numb￿5 we also, re8retfully. had to close dowrl our Coffee Lounge.
How¢v¢r the space has been utslAzed for aetiwities such as a ￿eek]Y Knit 8JMI Natter group and the Chaty Cafè
(syhich includes community digitsl io¢lusion w0￿1]0p$}. We are in the pro¢¢ss of d¢v¢loping other community
activities that will 5UPPOrt the of the CommuDity GrLW.
We continue to develop and see gro￿th in our todd]er group. 5ununer holiday clubs for ehTldren and youth,
Youth Clubs for I1-18yrs, study groups, Gos￿1 Choir and Mes8y Church. Nlany people who attead these events
are from non-chttrch backwllnds.
We deal with many pystoral i55UES day to day. Our pastoral team has signifi¢andy developed over tlie past year
and we now have a larg¢ team of Trohmteer pastornl visiton who keep iti touGb with those ￿*10 t￿ed i)we COTe
and supporL We deltyer ChristrE]a5, baryest alld Easter gifts to oNez 50 of our and ￿onal cards for

from the ¢omJnuftity of BursIem. We also held our Memorial Service which w&8 well attcndtd by relativc5 and
frien¢14 of those for wc held funer81 scrviccs during the pr￿Vious 2 years (as we had to cattccl Lt tbe prcvious 5.ear
due to CoYd-19 r￿trictions). We also started up our wovisioll of suvices in care homes in¢ludiug rArol s¢ryices,
As well &8 these activities, we reopened the Celltre OD Cbristtn&s Day to fd ]itnited number of 70 people; offeTing
a full Cl]ristsn&£ lunch to those who would otherwise be alone or incapable of providtng them5elve8 a ￿eal.
Also alongside ibis, we delivered a Christm&8 lull¢h t(> 320 pe4)ple along with 8 christm￿ gift; most of wbiLb is
provided by dollations. M05t of tl)e5E wle were unkth)wn to the clwr¢h and most w¢r¢ either hous¢bound, on
their or 5uff¢ring from food povetty. We had the help of over 50 YoluDteets tsk help deliver the methls and
help in the Centre.

membeTS. Because of the diverse needs and Tequirelljellts of our membership. Swall Bank usually off¢¢s 3
services each Sunday, 9am Traditional, I0.30a￿ Famiiv Worship (vknich 15 live5trea￿ed) and 6.15pm
Celebratory. It has been a ¢lkq]leng¢ u) gather together physically again aft¢r the lockdOR￿ c&used by Covid.
Each SuTtd&y, rolletiivelyj therE are over 235 adujts and rhildren who attend the &ervict8 atth whcrc w¢ hav¢
baptism5 and special occasioTLS tbosE nurnbets inctease sigjificantly. We also have an online con￿gatIon of
appioximately 65 watching live on facebook OT youtube. There is no barrier to 1ttelldll￿ aoy of our seTrices and
we endeavour to each person feel welco[￿e and at holl￿ u&
R¢¥ardin8 our livestream. in June. we made the decision to only livethream one serric¢ th2n ttvo. W¢ g¢t
regular feedback frollL our oniirle people who are very appr￿lative of this opportullity. For solne people tlus is a
lifeline particularly for those wkn are bousel)oulld. We have people aeross dLe county wbo Tegularly join us
solely via our itrternet provision.
