## **FINANCIAL SECRETARY’S REPORT** 

I have prepared the accounts, Income & Expenditure and the Notes of the Accounts in accordance with the Charities Act 1993 Sec 42 (3). Using the receipt and Payment’s basis available to small Charities. 

The financial statement are the responsibilities of the church Trustees. It is my responsibility to prepare the accounts using the accounting books and other financial statements which have been kept by the church for the period under review.

## **ACCOUNTING POLICIES** 

The Financial statement has been prepared in accordance with the Charities Act 1993 Sec 42 (3), 

Using the receipt and payments basis available to small Charities 

INCOME 

This is made up of Tithe and offerings as well as thanksgiving received during the period under reviewed. 

## TAXATION 

There was no taxation in these accounts since it is not a profit-making organisation. 

ASSETS 



Equipment’s purchase to help stream charity activities on zoom 

STATIONERY 

Office stationeries bought during the year are written off in the Income & Expenditure accounts 

during the year under reviewed. 

- 1- **Total inco** me includes £10,243.51 of gift aid received 

## 2 **- PASTORAL EXPENSES** . : 

- Local Pastors do not receive any salaries. 

- The church honour them with allowances 

## **3- Missions** 

- Mostly in United Kingdom and Ghana in Africa, and this financial year, mission activities include 

1- shipping unused equipment to churches in Africa 

- 1- Including providing educational support for under privilege children, whose education, were severally affected by the national lockdown because of the covid. 

## **.4- Welfare and Cost of living** 

This was used to support members during difficult times 

## **5- Internet/Website** 

## **This includes:** 

 Camera 

- Website 

- iPad  Tripod etc 

Which has been written off due to the age, and constant change in technology to estimate the useful life of these equipment 

## 6- Professional Service 

- Accounting Software monthly subscription
