mlssionaiy and ecumenical activlty, admlnlster or suppori training, provide advice resources tt￿d servlces to
those affected by soclal and economlc clrcumstances and promote oy organlse programmes to engage young
people In the tommunlty. In order to ftslfil these objects the charity established a church fellowshlp in the
Tonbrldge, Kent area.
The trustees hève pald due regard to guidante Issued by the Charlty Commlsslon In relatlon to publlc benefit
and have concluded that the actlvlties carrled out by the trustees are conslstent wlth that guldance.
The a¢tlvltles of the ¢harlty durlng the year Included the provislon of a church bullding to permlt Chrlstlan
worshlp, Bible study, prayer ènd felloWsh￿p èccording to the guidance found in Acts 2'.42. During the year these
a¢tlvltles were con51stently maintalned. The trustees also provlded support and guldance for community
benefit actlvltles and outreach to brlng the Christian gospel to the local communlty and t>eyond. Financlal
support has also been glven to Chrlstlan missltsn woik and urgent short-term rellef.

The trustees confirm that they have complled wllh the requirements of sectlon 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to
have due regard to the public benefit guldance published by the Charity Commission for England and Wales.
Achlevements and performance
Regular se￿I￿S are held for Chrlstlan worshlp, Blble study and prayer, alon8 wlth a weekly Sunday School In
term time. Local outreach events have been held whenever posslble. Increased onllne awareness has
geneyaled greater dlscoverab111ty and Increased 'drop-In' attendances at servltes. In ordei io keep the hall In
good and presentable £ondltlon, further works to Improve taterlng provlslon have been completed and plan5
are advanclng to enhance ihe bullding structure and sound and vlslon tapablllty for se￿Ice$.
The trustees again glve thanks to God for Hls blessln8. and acknowled8e His faithfulness callin8 Us into the
fellowshlp of hls Son, jesus Chrlst our lord li Corlnthlans 1.91.
The charlty Is 8rateful for the support provlded by volunteers, who are members of the church, In provldlng
help with open events, publlclty, caterlng, mlnor malntenance and other slmllar a¢ll￿tIes.

It Is the pollcy of the church thai unrestricted funds whlch have noi been deslgnated for 3 5peclflc use should
be maintained at a mlnimum level equlvalent to between three and slx month's expenditure. The truste
¢on5ider that reserve5 at thls level wlll ensure that, In the eveni of a sl8nlflcant drop In fundlng, they will be
able to contlnue the thurch'5 current actlvltles whlle conslderatlon Is given to ways In whlch èddltional funds
may be ralsed. The un￿strIcted reseNes lincludlng desl8nated reserves) held as net current assets at the end
f the year were £123,535 12023.. £132,6931 whlch represents more than the ann¢Jal expehditure of the
charlty. However, the trustees aye buildin8 reserves as they intend to lrnprove and, In due course, expand the
property to allow a greater range of charitable activitie5 to be pursued.

The trustees have assessed and addressed the major rlsks to whlth the church Is exposed. These rlsks prlmarllv
relate to the areas of111 sèleguardinÉ of children lill securlty of the property and safely of the publlc when
accesslng It and11111 Ilnanclal risk. The trusteÈs bre satlslled that actlons have been taken and reserves are in
place to mltigate exposure to the major rlsks. In partlcular, flre safety audits are periodically carrled out and
programme of wo¥k has been done to Improve access and Inc￿aSe bulldlng security. The trustees also
montStor saleguardlng pollcles and DBS checks, In consultatlon with experts in this Ileld. The level of financlal
reserves and holdln8 of funds in in FSCS-protected bank actounts reduce the financlal rlsk to a very low level.
