Activities
The world's worst nuclear disaster occurred at Chernobyl on 26 April 1986. The after effects were felt by the region's vulnerable children. These children grapple with life-threatening illnesses, in the still highly contaminated areas of South East Belarus and Northern Ukraine. Our charity exists so that we can help, by buying essential equipment for Gomel Children?s Hospital in S E Belarus.
Objects: To Fund The Purchase Of Medical And Diagnostic Equipment And The Provision Of Resources For Gomel Children's Hospital In Gomel, Belarus In Order To Perform Life-Saving Operations On Children And Young People Affected By The Cardiac Degradation Condition Known As 'Chernobyl Heart' Which Has Been Directly Linked To The 1986 Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster. The Charity Will Also Aim To Contribute Towards Initiatives To Improve Living Conditions For Families Affected By The Disaster, And Conditions For Children Receiving Care In The Hospital.
