**Objects:** (1) TO RELIEVE PERSONS WHO ARE RESIDENT IN WEARSIDE WHO HAVE SUFFERED A BRAIN INJURY, THEIR FAMILIES, CARERS AND OTHER RELATED PROFESSIONALS BY THE PROVISION OF SUCH INFORMATION, SERVICE AND FACILITIES.  (2) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ALL ASPECTS RELATING TO BRAIN INJURY AND ITS PREVENTION.

**Activities:** Headway Wearside aims to provide support and social activities to individuals who have acquired brain injury in order to promote and increase social  independence which will in turn reduce isolation issues and increase confidence. It provides support to families and carers, Extends social and cultural opportunites. disseminates information and training. Works with schools and young people.
