Activities
Moja Pamoja works to advance education projects in rural Northern Tanzania. We develop strong links with local communities to achieve our goals and together we aim to make a real difference in the lives of poor and marginalised people. During the last year we started the build (after a short delay from last year due to weather) of a much-needed teacher housing in a rural primary school.
Objects: The Promotion Of The Advancement Of Education And The Relief Of Poverty In The Arusha District Of Tanzania (The District By (A) Supporting The Setting Up, Development, Running And Expansion And Improvement Of Primary And/or Secondary Schools In The District; (B) Providing Materials, Equipment And Teachers To Primary And/or Secondary Schools In The District; (C) Providing Grants Or Other Subsidies To Fund Or Part-Fund Pupils Who Would Otherwise Be Unable To Attend Primary And/or Secondary School In The District; (D) Supporting Other Programmes For The Promotion And Encouragement Of The Advancement Of Education And The Relief Of Poverty In The District; (E) Supporting And Promoting Programmes To Supply Volunteer Teachers From The UK And Elsewhere To Primary And/or Secondary Schools In The Arusha District And (F) By Other Such Means As The Trustees May From Time To Time Decide.
