The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standards for Smaller Entilies. Part 15 the Companies Act 2006 and follow the recommendations in Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of Recommended Practice. Objectives Of The Charity The object of the charity is to advance the Christian Religion, promote religious activities, provide teaching and all associated operations including publishing and sale of literature in order to raise funds and to invite and receive contributions in furtherance of it's objectives. Income Resources and Expendlture Income and expenditure is included on an accruals basis and is allocated to the different categories of the Slalement of Financial Activities on a basis which reflects the day to day operations of the charity. Depreciation Deprecialion is calculated to write off the cost of the fixed assets over their useful lives, using the following rates and methods.. Category Rate Method Equipment 25,/0 Straight Line Depreciation is increased if Ihe net book value, as calculated using the above rates, is higher than the expected residual value. Cashflow The company has taken advantage of the exemption in Financial Reporting Standard No 1 from the requirement to produce a cash flow statement on the grounds that it IS 8 small Company.
