In planning our aclivilies for the year. we kept in mind the Charity
Commission's guidance on public benefit al our trustee meetings.
To ensure that the proiecls the Alexandra Tower
Foundation (A￿F} fund are targeted and delivered in a way that will
really make a difference, we worked in partnership with representatives
of the local communty to support vulnerable families in North London.
We partnered with local charlties and organisations including local food
chains for supply of vegetables and bread lo operale a local food bank.
There continues to be an increasing demand for the provision of the
basic needs of food and clothing that vulnerable children and adults lack
and so the food bank aclivilies in N.London conlinue lo be Ihe main focus
although with more emphasis on delivery lo families who are
housebound. We have also started a bike bank activity under the charity
where we receive secondhand bikes. have experEnced personnel
making sure they are road worthy. buy safety gear and other accessories
and donate these to local families and individuals who are experiencing
hardship.
We have continued lo fund a large food bank over Chnslmas in S
London.

Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements of the charlty
during the year
1. A￿F raised an addtiional £53,763 and made charitable payments of
£9,299 as well and financing the costs of running the food bank of
£38,164 as per the previous year where the demand has continued lo
increase wrth food being provided for around 300 people per week.
A￿F ended the year with a bank balance of £29,299.
1. A￿F also received £52,832 in restricted donations and £41,712
was disbursed according to the wishes of those providing the
donations. This was related to assisting vulnerable children and
their families wtlh food, dothing and other areas of essenlial
support, and particulaty a Christmas food bank in S. London.
2. A￿F continued to increase its support from the local community,
mainly for gelling volunteers to help in running the food bank,
collecting and delivering food and in helping with the bike project.
3. A￿F'S activities focused on running a foodbank in N London, in
addf(ion to assisting vulnerable children and their families in South
London.

The chanty had cash reserves at the end of August 2024 of £29,299. Our
reserve policy is to ring fence cash requirements for multi-year projects
so thal their full implementation can be compleled wf(houl raising any

As the chanty's tru4ees. you are responsible for the preparation of Ihe
accounts in accordan￿ with the requirements of the Charf(ies Act 2011
lllhe Act").
I report in resped of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Acl and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 14515llb} of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confim that no material matters have

disclosed below ') which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
