Members meet for an annual general meeting, plus additional quarterly meetings. policies and prO￿dureS adopted for the induction and training of trustees., the charity's organisational structure and any wider network with which the charity works., relationship with any related parties; trustees, consideration of major risks and the syslem and procedures to manage them. The AGM is held each year, and was opened up to regular church attenders where a summary of all church ministries are presented, along with other practical matters. As a congregation the church seeks the mind of Christ together. and those eligible to vote plays their part in determining the direction of the Trust. The church lakes seriously its responsibilities as a public meeting and in how it runs its various activities for the general public. Relevant policies and insurances are in place lo underpin its activities. Section C Ob'ectives and activities 1. To advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public, in accordance with the statements of belief in the schedule. 2. To provide relief of financial hardship among people living or working worldwide through the provision of relief, goods or finances. 3. To advance in life and help young people through., a) recreational activities in the interest of social welfare; b) providing support and activities which develop skills, capacities and capabilities. 4. To promote the provision of facilities for the inhabitants of Leeds and surrounding areas. who may have a variety of needs, in the interest of social welfare and to improve their condition of life. Summary of the objects of the harity set out in Ils governing document The membership and trustees consider carefully how the church activities and aims are in Ihe benefit of the public in its activities both for those who are in attendance at the church, bul also its wider impact on the local community. The main activities undertaken by the charity thal fulfil the objeclives are as follows.. The church met in person to develop a deeper understanding of the Christian faith, along with an opportunity for social and support opportunities. Services were recorded and uploaded lo the church website for members who were not able lo attend in person. This is also available lo non-local interest in the preaching and teaching aspects of the church. The church continued to paslorally and spiritually care for a number of asylum seekers. Summary oflhe maln activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects {include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit) The church continued lo provide prayerful and financial support lo missionary individuals and who seeking to further the Christian faith, in line with the organisations beliefs. Some of those include helping children who have AIDS in South Africa, support of a local based charity helping people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless, support work to a church in Albania, and an organisation whose objective is to plant churches in deprived areas of Scotland and the UK. Homegroup study groups continued, offering people the opportunity to mid-week discuss topical subjects, receive individual support and benefit from fellowship time logether. The mid-week bible studies continued on zoom, allowing a wider reach of people to be involved, and encouraging discussion and time of prayer, these times also provided a pastoral benefit to those who were able to join. at the heart of the ministry. Il's also a great opportunity when people come together, create friendships, and can enjoy times of fun together. The bi-weekly children support groups continued on Friday nights in the form of 3 age groups. Jam, and Youth has seen new children attend with some older ones move onto other things discussion and fellowship groups within the thurch. These are a great social activity with a Chrislian message offered at each. A group for older young people commenced, which involved gelling together for a lime of food and discussion, and other social aclivily. which is highly beneficial for those who attend in support, and leaching. The church ran ils first full Summer childrens work, called Epic Explorers, involving a week of mornings inviting children from the local community to come and enjoy fun and games, singing, cralt and learn bible stories. A good number of churched and non-churched people attended and benefited from the full re-launch. The church hosted ils annual bonfire night, with a great firework display, for its members and congregation, opened up for friends of those connected to the church to allend. 11 was a great opportunity for free refreshment. fellowship and enjoyment. The charily continued to respond to the needs of those around who were in need of support both prayer. financial and practical throughout the year of the pandemic. other groups 8nd ministries that were also started in person again were: Little Snappers - Creche facility on a mid week for local area parents lo bring their children and enjoy a time of play and chal wilh other people. Bibles and Breakfasts- a Sunday morning Sunday school for older children to come together have breakfast and a time of fellowship and leaming WAGS- group for ladies to get support from other ladies in the church Mens Breakfast- meeting a local restaurant. Ihis is a great opporlunily for some of the gents lo gel together. spend lime relaxing and getting support through the business of life Football - a lime where friends and children are invited, lo spend time socialising, relaxing, building friendship and gelling fit. Local School talk - the church was able to attend a school lo presenl the Christian message and also promote the Epic Childrens work for the Summer. Grounded- a new group for the older people in our community to get logelher and enjoy coffee and fellowship. TAR 20 Novembèr 2023

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended31/01/2023.
Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
(“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
