To relieve sickness and to promote and protect good health by providing specialist equipment and through the provision of training for specialist staff at the Kanti Children’s Hospital, **Summary of the objects** Kathmandu, Nepal, in order to provide better care and **of the charity set out in** treatment for the patients; and also promote the health of **its governing document** children and young people by supporting initiatives which can alleviate sickness and suffering across Nepal. Although, due to the Covid pandemic, many of our usual fundraising events have had to be put on hold, many of our supporters have continued to help raise money in any way they can. In March our Chair led a group of supporters out to Nepal to see for themselves how they are helping to save lives there.  They had a wonderful holiday and were able to visit the Kanti Children’s Hospital where they were greeted by the hospital Director. All our activities were undertaken free with the agreement of the Trustees who have regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit.

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year** 

In spite of the difficulties faced by everyone since the beginning of the Covid pandemic, our supporters have continued to give generously, both in time and money. 

Our various projects in Nepal, including work on cancer treatment, the Blood Bank, the Burns Unit, and now Child Protection, are continuing to operate.

A proportion of the monies in our bank accounts is committed to ongoing support of specialist positions at Kanti Children’s Hospital. The trustees are determined to use the charity funds as effectively as possible. As such our funds have allowed us to make substantial payment tranches to childhood cancer initiatives, earthquake relief and Covid survival equipment.
