Activities and Objectives:
Our trustees are the governors of the activities of our church. Our Charitable objectives are being carried out by having three general ministries:
Worship - By conducting regular worship services every Sunday that welcomes everyone and for the promotion of Christian faith. Prayer meeting every Tuesday held from house to house of our members and friends who are not members of our Church. We have prayer meeting done in Haverhill as well.
Evangelism and Discipleship - We offer Bible studies to our prospects, it runs from 6-12 sessions depending on the preference of the host. Presently, our discipleship is in progress compose of 5 groups.
Christian Education - We educate children, from 2 yrs and up. Teen- agers are also included in our regular Sunday School. Our Classes are divided into three class levels. We all do this presently via online. Vacation Bible School during summer is one of our biggest schedules every year. It takes place right after the school terms ends. Normally, we cater 70-90 students every year. We use modules with a certain theme. Activity includes, singing, arts and crafts, acting. Food is bring served after class.
Achievements and Performance
Our Sunday worship services are growing in number. Around 80-100 attendees are regularly coming to gather in worship. We have Thursday young professional meeting at Addenbrookes hospital.
Yearly Activities: Vacation Bible School for ages 4-15. Family camp Women’s conference Married/Couple’s Fellowship Youth conferences and inter Church fellowship
Salary Policies
Adopted for the Payment of the Staff . The remuneration of the pastor is set by the council in accordance with the minimum wage set by the government. The pastor who is not a member of the board of trustees therefore have no role in setting his own remuneration. The costs of the pastor’s salary are paid by the congregations.
Statement of Assets and Liabilities
The statement of assets and liabilities includes cash at bank and also identifies an outstanding gift aid claim relating to the year which was had not yet been received. An unrestricted fund of £77,474 has been accumulated from donations to help meet future costs of maintaining the fabric of the Church. This fund is to help enable UCC to meet its operating expenses in relation to the Church Ministry and objectives.
Mission Ministry
Our church has supported a feeding program for one year in Dasmarinas Cavite, Philippines. This project aims to help kids in regards with basic needs of food and also as a channel to share the gospel. Also, we are sending financial help to the typhoon stricken areas in the Philippines every year. We communicate to various community leaders to determine the need to make appropriate fundings.
Facility Improvement
Another shed was built at the left hand side of the building. This is to store our spare chairs, tools and equipment.

Report to the trustees/ Charity Name UNITED CHRISTIAN CHURCH members of On accounts for the year 5 APRIL 2023 Charity no 1140155 ended (if any) Set out on pages 1&2 I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above 05/04/2023 . Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 . I report in respect of my examination of the accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement matter considered as part of an independent examination.
