The pastors who is not a member of the board of trustees therefore have no role in setting his own remuneration. The costs of the pastor’s salary are paid by the congregations.

## **Statement of Assets and Liabilities**

The statement of assets and liabilities includes cash at bank and also identifies an outstanding gift aid claim relating to the year which was had not yet been received. An unrestricted fund of £151,760 has been built up from donations to help meet future costs of maintaining the fabric of the Church. This fund is to help enable UCC to meet its operating expenses in relation to the Church Ministry and objectives.

## **Mission Ministry**

Our church has supported people who are victims of strong typhoons which causes massive floodings and damage to properties such as houses and electricity. We were able to send cash funds to these people to purchase solar lightings as the electric power supply was destroyed by the typhoon.

Also, we are sending financial help to typhoon stricken areas in the Philippines every year. We communicate to various community leaders to determine the need to make appropriate fundings.
