**Objects:** THE OBJECTS FOR WHICH THE ASSOCIATION IS ESTABLISHED ARE WITHIN THE AREA OFENGLAND AND WALES:(A) TO PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION OF MENTAL HEALTH AND TO ASSIST IN RELIEVINGAND REHABILITATING PERSONS SUFFERING FROM MENTAL DISORDER OR CONDITIONSOF EMOTIONAL OR MENTAL DISTRESS REQUIRING ADVICE OR TREATMENT WHO ARELESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL AND TRANSGENDER; AND(B) TO PROMOTE THE STUDY OF AND RESEARCH INTO MENTAL HEALTH DISORDER ANDEMOTIONAL OR MENTAL DISTRESS IN PEOPLE WHO ARE LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUALAND TRANSGENDER AND TO OBTAIN AND MAKE RECORDS OF AND DISSEMINATE TOTHE PUBLIC THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLICIN MATTERS RELATING TO MENTAL HEALTH.

**Activities:** MindOut LGB&T Mental Health Project provides advocacy, casework, counselling and peer support groupwork for lesbian,gay,bi-sexual or transgender people with mental health issues and training for organisations and communities in LGB&T mental health awareness. Most services are run in Brighton & Hove, apart from our online support service and our national consultancy.
