Activities

Chorley Street Pastors is an inter-denominational Church response to urban problems, engaging with people on the streets during Tuesday daytime and hours on Friday and alternate Saturday nights. We are there to support, care, listen, dialogue and offer practical help when appropriate and to signpost them to further help if required. We work in partnership with the local council, and police.

Objects: To Advance Education In Accordance With Christian Principles By Such Means As The Management Committee May Consider Appropriate In Chorley And In Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdom Or The World As The Management Committee May From Time To Time Think Fit And To Fulfill Such Other Purposes Which Are Exclusively Charitable According To The Law Of England And Wales And Are Connected With The Charitable Work Of The Charity. To Relieve Sickness And Financial Hardship And To Promote And Preserve Good Health By The Provision Of Funds Goods Or Services Of Any Kind Including Through The Provision Of Counselling And Support In Chorley And In Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdom Or The World As The Management Committee May From Time To Time Think Fit.to Advance The Christian Faith In Accordance With The License Agreement Executed With Ascension Trust And The Core Values And Mission Statement Appearing In The Schedule Hereto In Chorley And In Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdom Or The World As The Management Committee May From Time To Time Think Fit Particularly But Not Exclusively By Means Of Caring, Listening And Helping People On The Streets And At Various Venues Day And Night.
