The directors of th8 company are also charity trustees for the purpose of charity law. The Board comprises
"Functional Trustees" and "Appointed Trustees" and the Memorandum and Articles identifies their period of
eleclion and the planned programme of rolling ratirernent. At every AGM one third of the Truslees must retire
from office, they may offer themselves for re-appointment at the AGM. The more Iraditional business, legal
and financial skills ere well represenled on board,
Oryanisational structure
A hierarchical reporting structure ha$ been eslablished which provides for a docum8nled and auditable trail of
ac¢ountsbility. These procedure5 are relevant across all operations and provide for successive levels of
authority to be given at higher lev&ls of management and finally to the Truslees.

The Board of Trustees is ultimately responsible for the 8y8tem of internal control and for revlewing its
effectiveness. However. such a system is designed to manage rather than eliminate the risk of failure to
achleve business objecllves, and Can onty provide reasonable and nol absolute assurance against material
mlsstatement of loss.
The Board has reviewed thè 8ff8cliveness of the system of intemal control. In particular, il has reviewed and
updated the process for identifying and evaluating the major risks affecting the business and Ihe policies and
procedures by which thes8 risks are managed.

guidance on public benefit, and the specific guidance on charities for the advancement of religion in
P8rticular, the Charity has been commilled in its efforts of supporting it5 Ne￿Ork of Churches in general and
In providlng training for Pastors, Ministers and Leadérs In Ministry on both Pastoral and Governance matters.

Th8 Trustees alm to retain Sufficient freè reserves 8quival8nl to a minimum of £12,000. These reserves are
held In cage of any sudden decline in income and lo ensure that we can meet our commitments lo providing
our services and activities. Spocifically, these commitmenls Include our contraclual obllgations in relatSon lo
our support and outreach work.

The Trustees have implemented robusl budgelary ¢ontrols and continue to monitor costs in an effort lo
continue lo deliver a balanced budget year on year.
Income- the total income for the ￿e7Ve months under review was £109,259 (2024: £109,812).
Expenditure- total expenditure in the year was £93,442 { 2024- £111,135).
Th8 Charity recorded an operating surplus for the year of £15,817 {2024'. £11,323) ', and carries fo￿ard funds
of £46,570 { 2024- £30,753). During the year the Trustee8 continued to place emphasis on financial
management to ensure that the funds within the organisation are properly managed.

Company law applicablè lo charities in England and Wales, the Charities Act 2011, Charity Regulations 2008
and the provisions of the trust deed requireg the trustees to prepare financial stalemenls for each
(Accounts and Reports) financial year which give a true and fair view of the slate of affairs of the charity and
and of the incoming resources and application of resources, including the income and expenditure of the ¢harit
for that period. In preparing those financial statements, the trustees ar8 required to..

The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Charities..
Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the
Financial Reporting St?ndard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 lelfeclive 1 January
2019) - (Charities SORP IFRS 1021), the Flnanclal Reportlng Standard appllcable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland (FRS 1021- They olso comply with the Companies Act 2006 and Charrtleg AGt 2011.
