The Trust's income derives from annual share dividends, from shares, formerly owned by family member, which are now held in the name of this Trust. The Trust's aim is to donate the income derived from these dividends, to various registered charities, in accordance with the wishes and preferences of the Trustees.
The Trustees are family members, who have agreed upon the types of charities to which they would like to donate. The amounts to be allocated to each charity will vary according to the income available that year and the preferences of trustees. The aim is to donate to a number of registered charities and to donate all or nearly all of the accumulated share income, each year. The Trust does not undertake any fund raising or other activities, and does not have any additional costs. No money is paid from the Trust's income, other than to the chosen charities. There continues to be no staffing or running costs, for our charitable Trust.
