The Trust's income is from annual share dividends, from formerly family owned shares, which are now held in the name of this Trust. The aim is to donate the income derived from these share dividends, to various registered charities, in accordance with the wishes and preferences of the Trustees.

The purpose of the Trust is to make donations to charities and charitable organisations, as the Trustees see fit. The objects of the Trust are to further such objects or purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales in any part of the world and in such manner as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion think fit. The donations are usually given on an “unrestricted” basis so that the recipient charity is able to use our donation in whatever way each charity feels it can be best used. If required, the Trust can also donate to specific projects. |

| The Trust received an income from share dividend, in July 2020. Donations were made to 25 registered charities during 2020 - 2021. Charities supported by our trust included those dealing with - Overseas development and need (tackling disease, access to water, education, women's/ girls rights, child poverty, etc.); Mental Health and family support issues; Disability; Medical; Homelessness; Refugees, Asylum Seekers, Holocaust Education and Victims of Torture. These charities included those working in the solely in the UK, as well as some involved aid to a number of countries abroad. Most beneficiary charities were selected because of existing particular interests and concerns of the Trustees. A full list of the charities supported in 2020-21 is given below and in the Trust's annual accounts. The Trustees are satisfied that the operation of our Family Charitable Trust fully meets their objectives with regard to The Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. |

Our trust receives many funding requests from a variety of different charities and organisations. Most of these are received through the post but a few also come via email. These requests are looked at by the Trustees and some, which met our preferences and interests, have received donations in the past. Predominantly, charities which are known to the Trustees, or which were supported by family members before the Charitable Trust began,have received regular donations.

The principal source of funds for the Trust, is dividend from shares in a related family business. The ownership of these shares was transferred to the Charitable Trust in 2011.
No additional fund raising is undertaken by the Trust and there are no expenses or costs paid out by the Trust.
- The Chillag Family Charitable Trust targets its charitable giving towards charities which have been supported by family members over a number of years; and those which may have particular interest and appeal to individual trustees.

Respective The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. responsibilities of The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year trustees and examiner under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
