There has been much to celebrate in 2023-2024 and it'5 been another successful year supporting our communities. our partners and our children, young people and families. Working in an area with a very high concentration of children and young people. Vision continues to be a vibrant and vital resource for the children. young people and the local community, with an average of 1710 people frequently using the 5epiice5 over the 105t 12 months in the variety of activities. We have delivered sessions over the evenin85 and v￿ekends, with greater focus on holiday activitie5. This year has seen a good range of activities. supporting children, young people, families and the over s￿5. We could not achieve the success from the activities without the mountain of volunteerlng hours put in by the young people's committee. the local communitychampion, our mentors and IIKal professionals. We continue to provide space for a wide range of courses delivered at the centre. Our 4 successful year of basic adult learning in partnership with Lifelong Learning and community partners. The Youn8 people's enterprise sessions 'Real Skills Real mone￿ has been supported and championed by local businesses. th The effects of the cost of living has impacted local families and the organisation alike. The team and our exceptional volunteers continued to keep the activities goin& a credit to themselve& We are approaching yet another millstone to celebrate. We are approaching 50 years. We are very excited by 311 thot we have planned going foThvard, and proud of our achievements over the last 12 months. After the My Voice My Community Event 2024, we are greatly looking fonward to continuing to work with the community to make our community a better place where we can develop new projects and opportunities for the local residents. As ever, I would like to take this time to thank all our supporters and partners for their continued help and support. I would also like to thank all the volunteer5 and community for their continuous and unrelenting good work and to the staff members and young people whom without any of these project activities would be possible. Annual Report 2023-2024 Vision iith &comm4JnltJ' "Inspiring the community" Financial Analysis Vision's financial year ran from 1st April 2020 to 31# March 2021. During this period the total funding amovnted to £75.079 of which £74,194 the total projects expenditure. Cash funds at the end of the financial year was £1457. Our financial priorities are to look at ways to reduce running costs, to raise our profile and continue to be recognised as a contributor to the regeneration of the town. Along with our partners, we have given a lot of time in our flagship social enterprise project, Oldham's I" Community Kitchen. Through the artivities we have developed a team of 6 core young people who are steering the day to day artivities. Our social enterprise is our small step to become less reliant on grant funding. Holiday Activltles Su¢ces5 The Holiday and food activities have seen children and young people enjoying the sessions as well having a tasty nutritious meal. .*v. The programme also series to develop young people who a￿ school leavers in volunteering with work and transferable skills. To date we have trained over 76 young people over the school holidays. 2. The Kitchen Team Commitment The Kitchen team consisting of the very young people who have developed through the organisation over the last decade has made us proud! With young people spring boarding to greater adventures. we have been training the next cohort over the last 12 months. They have successfully passed the training period and waiting to go live. 3. Volunteer Development This year 3 community organisations, businesses and over 30 volunteers from the many activities came together to deliver an amazing community event!

My Volce My Community Event 2024 At Vision, the activities are always local people led, supported by local businesses and the council in any way they can. With an ever-changing community aTrJ society. we didn't want to take this for granted. We embarked on a journey to hear the vlews of the people. Our Walk&Talk and Door2Door outreach successfully engaged and involved not just the vocal and popular but the people most isolated and neglected to the event. 2024 saw over 300 people engaged in the build-up of and in the event itsel*. The team are currently working to implement the ideas. Re I 5. Real Skllls Real Money Groups of young people continued with live enterprising projects with the skill and experience acquired over the enterprise course. We aim to work asset-based appyoach with partner organisations, sharing learning and assets to benefit the I￿al community. As the only main providerof yo￿8 people services in Coldhurst, we have to ensure we not only help young people on the path of personal achievement. we have to also ensure we nurture them to give back thus ljuilding capacity and sustaining community activities.
