Its objectives arc to attract, educate and empower a generation of intelligent, fO$¢d and globally-minded young Jews. giving them the skills and confidence to be effective and committed leaders of the Jewish and wider community. The Trustees, who are also the directors for the puqx)se of company law. and who served during the year were A Savage. N Schiff and M Steinberg. None of the TnteeS have any beneficial interest in the Company. On 15 May 2012, the Trustees were replaced as tnembers by Jewish Futures Trust Limited which became the parent undertsking and at present guarantees io contribute £1 ill the event of a winding up. During the course of the year JFT pVIded central head offjce services to FJL and 'S other subsidiary charities at Cost (as detailed in the notes to th¢ accounts). to enable the gTOUP to benefit from econonmies of scale. It encouraged group charities to use the resources of sister charities to benefit from their expertise. in furtherance of each others. Charitable ohjectiv¢s. The management of the Company is the responsibility of the Tnlstees who are elected and co-opied under the lenns of the Articles of Association. The number of Trustees shall not be subject to any maximum but shall not be less than two. The appoinlmenl and training of a new Ttee is subjecl to the oversight of current Trnstees. There are no spe¢ifJc restrictions imposed by the goveming document concerning the way the Charity can operaie. Volunteers are not used by the Charity to fulfil any Charity or operational activities. Charity's Objectives and Activities Forum for Jewisb Leadership (FJL) was established to identify, educate and empower young Jewish leaders through progrdmmes and activities which connect thetn to their community, culture and h¢ritage in a meaningful way. In doiDg so, we seek to enable those leaders to make long term contributions across the community. FJL seeks to meet these objectives by nmning seminars and programmes in the UK. Israel, the US and Europe. Achievements and Perfonnance During 2024 4 major trips were hosted for 150 leadership participants from UK and overseas. The Charity ¢ontinued to Proinote its progrdmmes of smaller engagements and activities in the UK as well as its on line learning iniliativeg.

Report {¢ontinued) Fundraising Forum for Jewish Leadership's fimdraising is principally from Trusts and Foundations and individuals particularly from people or organisations who either use or have benefited from the Charity's activities and have wished to show their appreciation. FJL does not engage in large scale fundrdising activities like mass mailings telephone fimd raising or dOOr-dO0r campaigns. FJL does not employ a professional fundraiser nor engage the services of any third-party org2nisations to help raise funds. To this eniL the Tnte¢S have not considered it necessary or appropria* to sign up to any regulatory code of fundraising prdctice but aims to ensure that fundraising is done professionally and in accordance with g¢y)d practise. FJL has not received any complaints about any &spect of its fundraising during 2020 or since then. Financial Review During the year Charity had a deficit of £25.648 (2023: surplus £12,124). Total Funds on the balance sheet are now £1,939 {2023: £27.587). Free Reserves at 31 December 2024 were £1,939 (2023: £27,587). FJL is supported by a broad spectnlln of donors from across the community, ranging from grassroots student-level programme participants and alunmi to a numkr of philanthropists and Foundations who partner with our charity and help encourage our aclivilies. Most fundraising is done through direct relationships with our partners and through effective communication of the importan¢e of our WO to the wÉder audience of our supporters. Since l November 2017, FJL has worked in partnership with Aish Hatorab UK Ltd. a group charity, both of whoms. sole member is Jewish Futures Trust Lid. The parthership works to enable FJL to deliver its activities in a more focused way to UK swdents, and Aish Hatorah provides financial support for FJL UK activities. All of FJL'S expenditure is focused on creating the wide range of successful high-quality educational COUTses and popular, itnpactful activities that deliver our stsfrd ¢haritsble objectives. As Trustees, we cannot stress enough how gratefijl we are for the Sllp)rt provided by our contributors. The funds provided and the time and care contributed are significantly impacting those participating in our prograrnmes and, by extension. the wider community and. although our thath are expressed regularly in person, it would be remiss not to mention the immeasurable difference that all involved in the Charity are making. Key Risks and Uncertainties The Trustees have assessed the major risks to which the Charity is exposed, and a satisfied that systems are in place to mitigate exposure to the rnajorrisks. A reduclion in donor base could Cause cash tlow issues; any delayed receipt of pledged donations or participants income Could also wtentially cause cash flow issues. The major risks facing the Charity are reviewed regularly at management meetings. Regular reviews of cash flow projections and budget forecasts are also undertaken, as well as a continual drive to reduce expendithre and negotiate better teTms and rates.

The Management Team are regularly a&Sing the operdtional and logistical capabilities and finance consequences to update plans and budgets. Public Benefit The Trustees acknowledge the duty in Section 17 of the Charities Aci 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission's published general and relevani sulFsector guidance on publi¢ benefit. All activities undertaken by FJL are for the public benefit. With a range of activities offered for a generation of able young leaders. the organisation's operation is very much geared to providing benefit to the Jewish and wider community as is highlighted by the activities reported herein. By encouraging those who participate in our programmes to consider their mordl restx)nsibility as givers Plans for the Future The Charity will continue its inv&qtment and planning for international internship programmes and in its worL locally, in UK, both in person and on line. Reserves Up until recently. FJL h&$ noi had an otTicial reserves policy. The Trnstees have detennined that FJL should endeavour to hold free reserves representing 3 montlLS of Olonal costs. approximately £30,OIK). The Trustees aim to meei this target by the end of 2026. The Charity has always functioned with a low level of Reserves and the Trustees are satisfied that the level of Free Reserves is adequale to deliver adjusted programmes and resources. The level of Free Reserves, while below target, are considered adequate at the CUTTent time. The Board will continue to review the Charity's reserves and its policy annually. Trustees, Responsibilities in Relatlon to the Aeeounts The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Trnstees. Report and the financial statements in a¢¢ordance with applicable law and Tegulations. Company law requires the Tnle¢S to prepare financial statements for each fmancial period. Under that law the Trustees have elected to prepare the financial statements in accordance with United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Praclice (United Kingdom Standards and applicable law). Under company law the TTUStees must not approve the fmancial statements unless they are satisfied that they give a ffiie and fair view of the slale of affairs of the Company and of the profit or loss of the Company for that period. In preparing these financial statements, the TnleeS are required to: select suitsble accounting p)li¢ies and then apply them consistenily. make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and penL follow applicable UK accounting standards and the Statement of Recommended Praclice, subject to any departUTes disclosed and explained in the accounts. prepare the accounts on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the Charity will continue in operaiion.

Accounting Policies Basis of Accounting The financial slatements have been prepared under the historical cosi convention and in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Prdctice, Accounting and Reporting by Charities (SORP 2015). applicable UK accounting standards including tbe Financial Reporting Sthndard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102), and the Cotnpanies Act 2006. The Company meets the definition of a public benefit entity under FRS 102. Assets and liabilities aTe initially recognised at historical cost or trdnsaction value unless otherwise staled in the relevant accounting policy notes. The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the fmancial staternents are as follows: Fund accountiDg General funds are unrestricted fund5 which are available for use at the discretion of the TnleeS in furtherance of the general objectives of the Company and which have not been designated for other putposes. Restricted funds are funds which are to be used in accordance with specific restrictions imposed by donors which have been raised by the Company for particular puq)oses. The cost of raising and admintering such funds are charged against the specific fund. Expenditure Cost of fimdraising aclivities are those costs incuTred in attra¢iing voluntary income. Charitable activities include expenditLwe associated with the delii'ery of its activities and include both the direct costs and support costs relating to these activities. Governance costs include those costs associated with meeting the conStitional and statutory requirements of the Charity and include the independent examinalion fees and costs linked to the strategic management of the Charity. Support costs have been allocated to the expenditure categorie5 based on the management's estimate of th¢ PTOPOrtion of time and resources consumed by each of the key activities of the Charity. Income Donations are accounted for when the Charity becomes entitled to the donation and any conditions for receipt are met. Liability Recognition Liabilities are recognised as soon as there is a legal or constructive obligation committing the Charity to the expenditure.

Debtors and creditors are initially recognised al transaction value and subsequently measured at fair value. Note 14 provides more infonnation on fllwicial instruments where tUre cash flows are anticipated, with financial assets referring to debtor balances excluding prepayments, and financial liabilities Teferring to all creditor balances excluding deferred income alld other taxation and social security. Golng Coneern Following a review of the fmancial position of the Charity, the Tntee5 are confident that the Charily Can generdte suificient donations in 2025 lo ensure that it can maintain its planned activiiies and resources. The Trusiees consider that there are no material uncertainities about the Charity's ability to conttnue as a going concern and have reasonable eXpeCtiOnS that the Charity has ad¢qual¢ r¢sourc¢s to continue its l1Vtti¢S for the foreseeabl¢ future. Accordingly they continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the amiual financial statements. Key Judgements and Estimates In the application of the Charity's accounting policies. which are described in note 2. Trustees are required to make judgements. estimates and assumptions about the carrying values of assets and liabilities that are not readily apparent from other sources. The estimates and underlying assumptions are based on historical experience and other factOTS thai are considered be relevant. Actual results may differ from these estimales. The estimates and underlying assumptions are reviewed on an on-going basis. Revisions to accounting estimates are recognised in the period in which the estimate is revised if the revision affects only that period or in the period of the vIsion and futUTC periods if the revision affects the current and future periods. FJL incurred Costs from JFf during the year totalliDg £20,153 (2023: £21.087) for its share of the provision of central otrice services and fa¢ilities that JFT Provide at cosL on a group level, to all sister clwities. JFT-Jewish Futures Foundation Inc is a charity in the USA which shares a trustee with the Company. During the year. the Company received donations from JFf Jewish Futures Foundation In¢ totslling £240,749 {2023: £151.951). At the year en JFT-Jewish Futures Foundation Inc owed the Company £6,250 (2023: £134). JFT NetrAch is a charity incorpordted in Israel, which shares a trustee with the Company. During the year the Company received donations from JFT Netzach of £17,975 (2023: £119,502). At the year end the Charity owed the Company £Nil (2023: £nil). JRoots is a subsidiary of Jewish Futures Trust. the sole member of the company. During the year, JRoots provided a grant of £35,(K)O to subsidtse educational trips (2023 £12,000). During the year the TThteeS made donations to the charity of £8.0(K) (2023: £5,490). 13 Parent Undertaking and Ultimate Controlling Party In 2012. the Charity came under the control of Jewish Futures Trust Lirnited, a company registered in England and Wales. The Company is a lo/ subsidiary of Jewish Futures Trust Limited, a limited liability company , registered number 07884678 and a registered charity number 1151066. Jewish Futures Trust is involved in public education and culturdl activities. The Trustees regard Jewith Futtwes Trust Limited as the immediate and Ultinte parent company. Jewish Futures Trust prepare consolidated annual accounts , including the results ol Fonun for Jewish Leadership.
