To advance the education of the public in the
Chinese language, art and culture. Not just
running a school in Newcastle Upon Tyne but
with the aim to contribute and improve racial
harmony, equality and diversity in the North
East of England.
In furthering these objectives the school:
- Teaches the Chinese language, Chinese arts,
the arts of calligraphy and dance
- Include the integrate all members of the
community with the school
- Promote partnership in the community to all
within the school, encouraging all students and
volunteers to be confident individuals and
responsible citizens
- Ensure that the school is run as a safe and
healthy environment
The beneficiaries of the activities of the School
are principally young people of Chinese families,
who may be immigrants to the UK or from
established families who maintain a dual cultural
identity – British and Chinese. However, this is
not exclusive, and any person, of any age, who
wishes to learn from the teaching of the school
may attend.
Where benefit is to a section of the public, the
opportunity to benefit must not be
unreasonably restricted by geographical or other
restrictions, or by ability to pay any fees
charged. The fees charged are set at a modest
level and provision exists to waive or reduce the
fees in cases of proven need. In any case, a
substantial proportion of the costs of the school
comes from donations, and fee levels are set to
contribute to costs,not to cover them.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 01 /07 / 2020 .

Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
